Ministry to the Sick

When entering one of the hospitals in Saginaw, please register as a member of Holy Spirit Parish. These hospitals then notify us. When confined to home or entering a hospital outside of Saginaw, please notify the parish office. In case of emergency, call the pastor.

What is Befrienders?

Befrienders ministry is an outreach program that provides spiritual care visits and (as requested) Holy Communion to the homebound. Ministers are assigned to 1 or 2 “befriendees.” Training is required for this ministry. In addition, Befrienders meet once per month with the coordinator for continuing education, prayer and support.
